17th LDMA AWARD CEREMONY
The Lalit Doshi Memorial Foundation and SICOM
Limited have jointly instituted an award, which is annually given to a SICOM
assisted unit having outstanding performance .
For the year 2010-11 ,
GoodEarth AgroChem Private Limited (GAPL), Nagpur is the LDMA Winner and
Bang Data Forms Private Limited is an additional award winner.
GAPL, belongs to GoodEarth Group from Nagpur which is one of the leading
group in mining & processing of Manganese ore to manufacture various
chemicals. The company is incorporated in 2005 for setting up two new units
for manufacture of Manganese Oxide and Manganese Dioxide (10575 TPA) at
Brahamanwada, Dist. Nagpur and Manganese sulfate (15000 TPA) at Valsad,
Gujarat. Manganese Dioxide is used in dry cell batteries, as a water
purifier. Manganese oxide is used as fertilizer, animal feed additive and as
raw material for manufacturing manganese sulphate. Manganese Sulphate is
widely used as an intermediary product in fertilizers, animal feed ,
fungicides and chemical industries. The company's market share is about 30%.
The sales turnover of the company is Rs 25.28 Crores in 2010-11.
Bang Data Forms Pvt. Ltd, has manufacturing unit at Solapur and Thane. The
company is mainly into manufacture of Woven Sacks and Computer stationery
like printed Cheque book, Warrant Cheques and other Statements such as
Bills, Account statement etc. The sales turnover of BDFPL in 2010-11 was
Rs.84.21 Crores.
These awards were presented on 4th August, 2011 at 6.00 pm at Y.B. Chavan
Centre Auditorium, J.B. Marg, Near Sachivalaya Gymkhana, Mumbai - 400 021.

Seventeenth Lalit Doshi Memorial Lecture on
