Lalit Doshi Memorial Award 2007-08

The prestigious award instituted by Lalit Doshi Memorial Foundation and SICOM Limited is annually presented to a SICOM assisted unit having outstanding performance.

Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Mumbai is the LDMA Winner

Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (EPL) incorporated in April, 1983, is engaged in the manufacture of Pharmaceutical Formulations, Bulk Drugs, consumer products and medical devices like calcium supplementations, wound, neutraceuticals, dermatology etc. Elder pharmaceuticals has set up five Mfg. Units of which two are in Maharashtra.
EPL has a strong brands – Shell-cal, Eldervit, Chymoral etc. The Group reported a turn over of about Rs. 551 Crs. with a net profit of about Rs. 69 Crs.

The award was presented to Elder Pharmaceuticals Limited, in a special function held on 29th Septemebr, 2008 at 6.00 p.m. at Y.B. Chavan Centre Auditorium, J.B. Marg, Near Sachivalaya Gymkhana, Mumbai – 400 020.

On this occasion Dr. Rajendra K. Pachauri Chairman ,Intergovernment Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) & Director General , "The Energy and Resources Institute" ( TERI) had delivered the fourteenth Lalit Doshi Memorial Lecture on “Implications of Climate Change for Indian Society ”.
